Sikorsky has announced that the RNorN has ordered six MH-60R Sea Hawks. The new aircraft will be employed in a variety of maritime roles, including SAR as well as coastal and offshore patrol. The announcement follows on from an order from the Spanish Navy for eight MH-60Rs.
Sikorsky has delivered 330 MH-60R aircraft to five countries. Sixty-four more are on order or in production for India, Greece, South Korea, Australia, Spain and Norway.
