The Western Australian Police Force has taken delivery of the first of two D3 H145s from Airbus. The aircraft is the first of the five-blade H145s to enter service in Australia and also the first D3 for law enforcement in the southern hemisphere. The helicopter is certified for single-pilot as well as IFR and is NVG-equipped and fitted with an integrated police mission system.
The second of the two aircraft is due for delivery by the end of the year.
