Technisonic has expanded its All-Band AM-FM Airborne Radio offering with the addition of the new TDFM-9100-T6. The new offering incorporates Technisonic’s T6 module into the TDFM-9100, with capabilities of supporting Low Band VHF FM, VOR Voice, as well as Airband and Military UHF.
The TDFM-9100-T6 holds all the capabilities and flexibility of the TDFM-9100, including support for up to two additional P25 Tri-band capable modules and two MCP ports. Additionally, the 9100-T6 is scalable up to 5 comm sources, with three internal and two externals.
According to Jim Huddock, Director of Business Development, Technisonic, “the new TDFM-9100-T6 variant is simply the most capable compact All-Band AM-FM Airborne Radio available anywhere. Without modification to the TDFM-9100’s compact dimensions, 3.0-inch (H), 5.75-inch (W) and 8.5-inch (D) or core capabilities, Technisonic can now offer the T6 All-Band analogue module as an optional internal transceiver.”
“The 9100-T6 supports all analogue bands, 30-50MHz, 107.9-117.9MHz, 118.00-156.00 MHz and 225-400MHz. which alone is a huge feat,” added Huddock.
The new T6 allows both programming of channels via a newly developed TDP software package, or the choice to program channels such as tower frequency, where the radio automatically defines the channel as simplex via the FREQ option; support of more complex programming such as setting PL Tones and repeater channels; or programming channel names using the FPP option.
