PW200StandardAero has completed the stand up of its Pratt & Whitney Canada PW200 helicopter engine MRO capabilities at its Winnipeg, Canada Helicopter Center of Excellence (COE), including support for a new test cell. The company is in the process of transitioning the test cell from its facility in Dallas to Winnipeg, an investment of more than US$1 million. StandardAero has also ramped up operations with new tooling and resources and received Transport Canada approval last December.

“We’re going all-in with our PW200 service capabilities,” said Neena Gill, Vice President and General Manager for StandardAero’s Helicopters business unit. “It is an engine line that continues to grow, so we’re ramping up and investing to support PW200 operators worldwide. StandardAero was the first facility authorised to service PW200 engines through our acquisition of Dallas Airmotive. We are pleased to now bring those capabilities into our Winnipeg operations.”

StandardAero provides tip-to-tail services for Airbus and Bell model helicopters, including engine MRO, complete engine accessory overhaul, airframe maintenance, avionics, structural repairs, AOG and field service support and various dynamic components at five facilities located in the US, Canada and the UK.
