SPAES has recently completed an interior upgrade on an AS350 (Airbus H125), which included not only a complete refurbishment of the cabin accommodations but also the installation of a USB-Charger point and an iPad mount. The latter was carried out by SPAES EASA Part21J Design Bureau in coordination with the customer who completed the fit-out at their own EASA Part 145 facility.
The iPad mount includes an integrated blower unit to prevent overheating and will allow pilots to use their iPads in a range of electronic flight bag-type applications.
