Since acquiring the The Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA) operating contract in March of this year Sloane Helicopters have been fulfilling it using two EMS configured AW109 GrandNews. The company has announced that the these will be replaced with two AW169s later this year marking a doubling of the company’s turn key HEMS support operations for TCAA and its partner charity The Air Ambulance Service (TAAS).
