Reiser’s H145 D3 is the first Level D simulator available for pilot training.
Reiser Simulation and Training has been granted Level D approval for its H145 D3-based simulator by the Luftfartstilsynet (the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority). The simulator has been installed at the Norwegian Competence Centre Helicopter (NCCH) in Stavanger. According to Reiser, it is the first simulator representing the five-blade H145 D3 to receive Level D certification.
In order to build the simulator, Reiser conducted an extensive flight test and data gathering programme to ensure the device is not only 98% accurate to reality but 100% accurate in modelling of the D3 H145.
