Aberdeen-based Offshore Helicopter Services UK (OHS UK) has signed a five-year extension to its offshore support contract with Serica Energy. The agreement calls for OHS’s fleet of S-92s and H175s to service Serica Energy’s operations in the North Sea and, in particular, to the Bruce platform. The contract extension will extend the companies’ relationship to at least eight years.
Commenting on the announcement, Shaun Roseveare, CEO of Johannesburg-based Ultimate Aviation Group, which owns OHS UK, said: “This extension represents confidence in OHS UK and the outstanding customer service our team strive for and deliver each day. We are delighted to be continuing our extremely positive relationship with one of our high-profile customers and look forward to the next five years and beyond. Market conditions remain challenging across the sector, and our continued partnership with Serica demonstrates our business can have a sustainable future and their confidence in our ability to deliver at all times to the highest level.”
The announcement comes against a background of industrial unrest at OHS as new owners Ultimate Aviation Group seek to reduce its operations costs.
