Enstrom has announced Todd Tetzlaff as its incoming President, with effect from the end of April 2023.

The upcoming role will be Tetzlaff’s fourth time working for the helicopter manufacturer throughout his career, having worked within the manufacturer’s engineering department while at college, played an integral role in the design of the T-T strap installation still used by Enstrom today and spent seven years as Enstrom’s Flight Test Engineering Manager.

Matt Francour, the current President of Enstrom, who plans to begin his retirement at the end of April, said Tetzlaff was the right choice for the manufacturer’s “new era”, having mentored him since he first arrived at Enstrom.

Speaking on the future of the company, Tetzlaff said he was excited to lead research into longer-term upgrades, following the improvements to the current product line like full glass instrument panels, crash-resistant fuel systems, new interiors and new paint options.

“Enstrom has a rich history going back more than 60 years,” he said, “there’s something to be said about that in this industry. Many great aircraft companies have come and gone in that time. We are still here, and we plan to be for a very long time.”
