Helinet Aviation, a provider of a wide range of helicopter services based at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles, has announced the appointment of Allison Rakun as its new President, effective immediately.
A graduate of California Lutheran University, Rakun holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She led marketing at Shotover Systems for over seven years, and prior to joining the aviation industry, held multiple positions in the public relations
Since joining Helinet in 2014, Rakun has had a number of roles, including VP of Marketing, VP of Business Development, VP of Policy and Strategy and most recently, EVP of Mission Support.
Speaking about her appointment, Rakun said, “It is with great honour and privilege that I assume the role of President of Helinet Aviation. I am deeply grateful to our CEO Kathryn Purwin for her confidence in me to help lead this company into the future.”
Helinet Aviation provides a wide range of helicopter services to the medical, news, charter, public safety, utility, and commercial production markets.
