CNC Technologies (CNC) has been awarded a multi-year contract with the Washington Department of Natural Resources (WA DNR) to upgrade the State’s Kodiak aircraft mission suite. The collaboration will provide actionable intelligence to internet-connected devices such as mobile phones, smart devices and command centres.

As the prime contractor, CNC will be responsible for providing mission suite design, delivering equipment, overseeing aircraft integration and providing 24/7 support, with ongoing technical and operational training.

“CNC Technologies offered a comprehensive solution interoperable with our law enforcement and fire department’s aerial and ground assets,” said Rich Knoth, Chief Pilot, WA DNR. “CNC’s reputation and unwavering service to its clients were a driving force behind our decision.”

CNC has extensive relationships with FLIR Teledyne, Troll Systems and Shotover Systems and continues to grow its customer base in the Western US. It also recently secured projects with the California Highway Patrol, Inglewood Police Department, Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Ontario Police Department, and East Bay Park Police, as well as its contract with the Washington Department of Natural Resources.
