Bristow has opened two new operating bases in Brazil at Eurico de Aguiar Salles Airport in Vitória, Espírito Santo, and Farol de São Thomé, Rio de Janeiro, to support its customer base.

The two bases bring the company’s Brazilian operation to 15 AW139 helicopters operating from five bases nationwide. In addition to the 15 aircraft on contract, it has another two in reserve, with a third expected to join the fleet next month.

“As the Brazilian subsidiary of the largest provider of offshore energy transportation services in the world, we are proud to increase our local operations and continue to provide the safe and reliable service for which Bristow has long been known in Brazil. These newest bases in Vitória and Farol de São Thomé better enable us to serve our customers and deliver on our newest commitments in Brazil,” said Brazil Area Manager Marcos Toledo. “In two years, Bristow has gone from six to 15 dedicated helicopters in the country.”
