All-electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) jet developer Lilium has revealed that its Phoenix 2 demonstrator has achieved its planned maximum speed of 136 kts (155 mph/250 kmh). The company says this milestone validates the stability and control expectations of the aircraft as well as the control software at the high-speed portion of the flight envelope. Thus, the company says, getting a step closer to flight of the conforming prototype.
