The Vuichard Recovery Aviation Safety Foundation (VRSF) is starting production of an addition to its series of safety videos. This time, the focus is on “How to avoid a wire strike during helicopter operations.” To make this video as effective as possible as a training tool, the VRSF is seeking help from helicopter operators worldwide. It is asking for recordings of any wires or cables in your area of operations that you consider to be a danger.

The foundation wants short recordings in 4K resolution showing the offending cable. Respondents can also include a map of the location with the height of the cable AGL.

Please send the materials to  info@VRASF.org  with  “Wire strikes” in the subject line.
