Two big H145 orders, totalling up to 142 helicopters, provided a significant boost to the Airbus Helicopters’ order book.
In its annual results posted this morning (15 February 2024), Airbus Helicopters revealed that 2023 represented a good year, with the steady growth of the last couple of years continuing. As announced earlier, the company took orders for 393 helicopters last year against deliveries of 362 aircraft. An increase in the backlog of 6%. Consequently, as of 31 December 2023, the company order book was valued at EUR €21,525 million versus €20,774m at the same point in 2022.
As a result of this activity, the company posted adjusted earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) of €735m (on revenues of €7,337m), increases of 15% and 7% compared with last year.
