REB Technologies Inc. (REBTECH) has completed an NVIS STC modification to an R-44 operated by Southern Utah University (SUU), the sixth modification REBTECH has carried out for the SUU flight training academy located in Cedar City, Utah.

In addition to the STC modification, REBTECH has also recently modified a Bell 206 L-4 with NVIS capabilities for the university.

“We have enjoyed a long and successful relationship with SUU and really enjoy working with them and modifying their fleet,” said Richard Borkowski, President of REBTECH. “Their staff is always prepared for our technicians to get to the hanger and are extremely knowledgeable and helpful during the installation process.”

“Southern Utah University has exclusively used REB Technologies for all of our helicopter NVG conversions. We continue to use them because of their exceptional workmanship, timely installation, and excellent customer service,” added Richard Cannon, Department of Aerospace Sciences and Technologies, Southern Utah University.

“All our installations have been planned to fit around our maintenance cycles. Typically, REB comes to our facility and installs the NVG conversions while the aircraft is already down for other inspections. This minimises the overall downtime,” continued Cannon, who added that SUU will continue to use REB in the future.
