First Quarter North American aircraft deliveries and billing are significantly up on the same period in 2022, according to the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA). Highlights of the report reveal that piston deliveries grew by 40% to 56. Meanwhile, 153 turbine aircraft were delivered, up by 53% year on year. As a result, billings for helicopters were up by US$300m to $800m or 60% compared with last year.

Commenting on the report, Pete Bunce, GAMA President and CEO, said the results are particularly encouraging against a background of  “persistent supply chain, workforce, and North American regulatory process challenges”.
