Airbus Helicopters has announced that the world’s H175 fleet has passed the 200,000 hours milestone. Currently, the H175 – a super-medium utility helicopter – is flown by 15 operators in 13 countries. Although the USA has yet to join that list, the FAA only has the capacity for one certification programme per manufacturer at a time and certification of the H175 has been held over until the H160 clears its final hurdles.
