Dart Aerospace has launched a new external cargo Heli-Utility-Basket for the Bell 505 aircraft. The Bell 505 Heli-Utility-Basket is the latest in DART’s popular line of baskets. It joins DART’s existing Heli-Utility-Baskets for helicopter models, including H125, Bell 407, R66, and AW119, as well as other models for helicopters manufactured by Airbus, Bell, Leonardo, and Robinson.
“DART is excited to further support the popular Bell 505 by launching a Heli-Utility-Basket that allows operators to expand their mission profile,” said Michaël Desjardins-Séguin, DART Business Unit Manager for Parts and Accessories. “DART is well positioned to bring this first Bell 505 basket to market with our proven record of efficient design, development and certification capabilities.”
The basket will be certified under TCCA and FAA STC. Like most DART products, DART will support other agency validations based on customer needs. Deliveries of the new basket are expected to begin in September 2023.
