EHang has announced that it has received a production certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority of China (CAAC) for its EH216-S autonomous eVTOL. This is the first of its genre to receive a production certificate and another first for the programme, which received its type certificate from the CAAC last year. The production certificate will allow the company to begin making deliveries to customers in China.
