Boost Systems and AirWork & Heliseilerei GmbH have announced their collaboration which will see the two companies work on the development and certification of a complex Personnel Carrying Device System (PCDS) for the Boost H125/As350 Human external cargo system (HEC).
The BOOST AS350/355/H125 HEC System has a carrying capacity of 1100 lb / 500 kg, which allows for multi-person rescue. The provisions kit installs quickly and easily. Once installed, the mission kit (dual hook and load beam) is installed and removed within minutes.
“Providing a complete solution is paramount. We want all HEC operators to have access to modern and certified HEC equipment, including Personal Carrying Device Systems (PCDS). Working closely with AirWork allows us to offer a PCDS designed specifically for our Airbus H125/AS350 HEC System here in Europe,” explained Derek Thomas, BOOST Systems President.
