Bell’s 505 has entered West Africa’s market with the first delivery of the type to Angolan operator Bestfly. Bestfly, which began operations in 2009, is Angola’s latest private aviation company and carries out a range of activities including aircraft management and charter, catering, flight planning, transfers and flight handling.

Commenting at the hand over ceremony at Bell’s Mirabel factory Nuno Perreira Bestfly’s founder and CEO said “We’re proud to take delivery of the very first Bell 505 in West Africa,” This addition to our fleet will add a new dimension to our service offering and showcases our commitment to further developing the aviation industry in the region. We will be using the new 505 for corporate transportation and sightseeing tours, among other missions. It’s a great aircraft that is incredibly easy to maintain and the customer service from the Bell team has been excellent.”

The aircraft will be joined by another 505 which is expected to be delivered later in 2023.
