Aveo Engineering Group has purchased a one-acre commercial site in Palm Coast, Florida, near its existing facility. In addition, the company will add 12,000 square feet of new construction, primarily dedicated to increasing company capabilities in engineering, product customisation and distribution.

When completed, the new facility will be carbon-negative, meaning it removes more carbon gasses from the atmosphere than it produces. Key in the design are passive and active solar and wind power generation. Additionally, rainwater recovery and purification will reduce mains water demand.

The new facility will help the company maintain growth not only in the helicopter sector but also support expansion into the eVTOL and space operations markets, where the company already has a presence on the International Space Station and the Artemis III lunar lander.

Construction of the facility is due to start shortly and is expected to be complete by year-end.
