AeroBrigham has announced that it will expand its MRO facility in Decatur, Texas, with an additional 45,000 sq. ft. (4,180 sq.m) of hangarage. The new facility is to be entirely dedicated to the company’s rotary business while support, completions, and fixed-wing MRO will remain in the existing space.
In addition to the additional floor space, AeroBrigham will also offer a “down draft”-type aircraft paint facility capable of handling transport category helicopters. Specialised aircraft painting technicians will operate the paint facility, and this will complement the overall efficiency of aircraft refurbishment, reconfiguration and completions.
