Vita Inclinata has announced that it has delivered 16 of its Vita Rescue System (VRS) units to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CalFire) for its Firehawk fleet, enhancing the safety and efficiency of CalFire’s aerial firefighting and rescue missions.
The VRS is a state-of-the-art precision-control lifting device that eliminates spinning, swinging, and oscillations during hoisting operations. Equipped with high-torque bi-directional electric propulsion systems and a thrust vectoring system, the VRS measures over 1,000 data points per second to stabilise loads autonomously in challenging environments.
“Partnering with CalFire on their critical, life-saving missions is an incredible honour,” said Caleb Carr, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vita Inclinata. “Our precision technology is designed to empower rescue teams with unparalleled control and safety, ensuring they can focus on what matters most: saving lives.”
