Entrol has announced that it has, in association with the US government and aerospace services provider Amentum, delivered and installed a Bell 429-based FTD Level 2 simulator for the Tunisian National Guard. According to Entrol, the simulator has been designed to replicate exactly the configuration used in the National Guard’s fleet of 429s. Additionally, the terrain database has been enhanced to zero in on the operating environment that the National Guard flies in, including deep detailing of the airports at Tunis-Carthage (DTTA) and Enfidha-Hammemet (DTNH).
“We are thrilled with the success of this project, which was specifically tailored to the needs of the Tunisian National Guard,” said Luis Olarte, CEO and founder of Entrol. “Working alongside Amentum, we’ve delivered a solution that will improve mission safety and effectiveness. With this installation, Entrol continues to expand its portfolio of specialised simulators.”
