SPAES has successfully installed a radar altimeter indicator on an MD 902 aircraft for a customer. The installation, which was performed at the customer’s Part 145 maintenance organisation, will improve aircraft performance by providing accurate and reliable altitude information during approaches and landings.
The installation included a minor change carried out in coordination with the customer and the EASA Part 21J Design Organisation of SPAES. After the completion of installation tests, the documentation was finalised, and a minor change for the installation was issued.
