Skyryse has been named as a finalist for the Collier Trophy, a prestigious aerospace award that has previously recognised the advancements of Orville Wright, Apollo 11, the Boeing 747, and the International Space Station.
The award, presented annually by the National Aeronautic Association (NAA) since 1911, recognises America’s greatest aeronautic or astronautic achievements.
“This recognition as a finalist for the Collier Trophy underscores the profound impact of SkyOS’s ability to make aviation simpler, safer and more accessible,” said Dr Mark Groden, CEO of Skyryse. “We are incredibly grateful to the NAA for being considered one of the most significant aerospace achievements of the year.”
The winner will be announced on 12 June at the annual Collier Dinner. The trophy will remain on display at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.
