Skyryse has announced significant growth with a new facility at Hawthorne Airport in Greater Los Angeles. The facility, at the western end of the airport’s runway 07/25, is slated to become the company’s Part 145 Installation and Repair centre for its R66-based Skyryse One flagship helicopter. Hawthorne joins the expanded headquarters and installation facility at El Segundo/LAX and flight test centre at Camarillo Airport.
Commenting on the expansion, Skyryse CEO Dr Mark Groden said, “Expanding our operations to Hawthorne is a critical step in our mission to make aviation simpler and safer. This new facility will be instrumental in our efforts to certify Skyryse One and bring our transformative technology to the broader aviation industry.”
