Sikorsky has revealed that six operators renewed multi-year Total Assurance Program (TAP) contracts in 2025 and early 2026, including Bristow and Offshore Helicopter Services. TAP is equivalent to power-by-the-hour services, covering 90 percent of S-92 replacement parts cost for operators who fly one aircraft 100 hours a year or a large fleet accumulating up to 1,500 hours per aircraft per year.
The offering is supported by Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) data from over 300 S-92s, which has been used to develop AI tools and algorithms for predictive maintenance.
“The past 10 months have seen strong demand by offshore energy companies to renew TAP aftermarket agreements into the early 2030s,” said Leon Silva, Sikorsky vice president, Global Commercial and Military Systems. “Multi-year coverage signals confidence in the reliability and endurance of the S-92 helicopter, and in our ability to deliver or stock aftermarket parts that help these aircraft fly consistently in the mid-90 percent availability rates, among the highest in the industry.”

TAP was launched in 2004 for Omni and PHI, both offshore energy operators. Today, nine S-92 operators receive TAP services, with 155 active S-92 helicopters out of the 270 aircraft global fleet covered by the agreement.
