Safran has signed a support-by-the-hour (SBH) contract with Chinese Bell 505 operator Reignwood Aviation Group for the Arrius 2Rs fitted to its fleet of Bell 505s. The deal is the first Arrius 2R SBH contract to be signed in China. Operating a number of Bell types, Reignwood Aviation is the largest civil operator of 505s in the Asia-Pacific region.
Commenting on the signing, Safran Helicopter Engines CEO Cedric Goubet said, “I am very proud of the trust and recognition from Reignwood Aviation to us. This win-win cooperation fully demonstrates the value of SBH®and serves as a model for all Bell 505 civil operators in China to join this service. We are committed to providing the best service to ensure the missions and actively support their strong growth in the Chinese general aviation market.”
