Andy Rodden, the current Director of ETZ Ltd Offshore Renewables, will be joining Aberdeen-based Offshore Helicopter Services UK Ltd (OHSUK) in September as Managing Director. Interim Managing Director Martin Stubbs will return to his previous role as Director of Operations on the OHSUK Board.
Rodden enters the role with significant achievements throughout his time at ETZ Ltd, with his contributions to the first Floating Wind Innovation Centre in partnership with Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult and the creation of an Energy Transition Skills Hub at the NESCol campus in Aberdeen’s Altens Industrial Estate. Both projects represent over £15 million of investment in the Scottish city.
Rodden said: “I look forward to working alongside the team, and existing and future customers as we seek to grow the business and expand our market share. It is little over a year since Ultimate Aviation acquired OHSUK, and it is already clear to see the positive impact of the hard work undertaken by the team to transform the business.”
Commenting on Rodden’s upcoming role, Shaun Roseveare, Ultimate Aviation Group CEO, said: “Andy brings with him considerable leadership qualities and the experience that can help drive OHSUK forward. […] “Everyone across our sector is facing challenging market conditions, but our reputation for delivering high-quality, reliable, and safe service delivery has shone through.”
The appointment follows OHSUK’s announcement of a multi-year contract with Apache to fly H175s from Aberdeen to the Beryl and Forties fields.
