Libyan Air Ambulance has taken delivery of two Bell 429s at the Bell Textron facility in Fort Worth, Texas. The two aircraft, ordered in March 2023, join the HEMS operator’s Bell 505, which was delivered in June 2023. Prior to delivery, United Rotorcraft carried out a full HEMS fit, which features dual patient capability, a gaseous oxygen system, and a 240VAC electrical setup.

Established in 1979, Libyan Air Ambulance provides patient transport services throughout Libya and neighbouring countries. Its fleet includes both fixed and rotary assets. In addition to the 505 and 429s, its helicopter fleet includes Bell 412, AW109, H135, H145s, and an H155.
