Heli-One and Ex-Change Parts are to collaborate on the sale of four AS332M1 Super Pumas. The aircraft, which were previously operated by the Swedish Armed Forces, are currently in storage with Ex-Change Parts in Sweden and will undergo a return-to-service programme with Heli-One in Norway, which can be tailored to the buyer’s needs.

The alliance between the two companies will provide customers with the option to reconfigure the aircraft with new mission equipment, together with component overhaul services and the provision of spare parts, as well as pilot and maintenance training. Potential additions for customers include engineering, logistics, and CAMO services. Also on offer is the option for a mid-life upgrade, including a total airframe update.

“These Super Puma M1 helicopters are unique assets, given their factory-installed SAR equipment and comprehensive modification records,” explained Rikard Jansson, CEO at Ex-Change Parts. “Our partnership with Heli-One ensures that the modifications and maintenance are executed to the highest standards of quality and safety.”
