Health and Usage System Monitoring Systems (HUMS) system provider GPMS has announced that the FAA has granted approval for an STC that will allow the installation of its Foresight MX HUMS on H145 D2s and D3s. Integrators Metro Aviation and Wysong Enterprises also participated in the STC programme.

“This STC is a major win for GPMS given the widespread adoption of the H145,” said Todd Powers, Vice President of Sales at GPMS. “With more than 600 H145s in operation globally, we saw a clear need for a more affordable, easy-to-install HUMS solution. Foresight MX stands out by offering a significantly lower acquisition cost, seamless retrofit compatibility for both D2 and D3 models, and an industry-leading user interface – backed by our best-in-class customer support. It’s no surprise we already have a double-digit backlog for H145 installations this year.”

Powers also acknowledged the critical support of GPMS’s Certified Installer network. “We want to extend our gratitude to Wysong Enterprises and Metro Aviation for their invaluable contributions to this STC. Their deep expertise and hands-on involvement helped us refine the installation process to optimise performance on the H145 platform.”
