DAC International will continue to distribute Esterline Avionics Systems’ CMA-6800 LCD display product line under a partnership agreement renewal announced on 5 May.
DAC distributes the Esterline CMA-6800 LCD display in fixed-wing and rotary-wing markets. The company holds an approved model list supplemental type certificate (STC) that includes the Hawker 800/800xp/1000, Bombardier’s Challenger 601-3A/3R, Dash 8-100/200/300, 415 Superscooper, Cessna Citation 650, Dassault Falcon 900, Fokker 50 and the Gulfstream III.
The company has also received a Sikorsky S-76B/C STC for the display for the S-76C+ and S-76C++ models.
The CMA-6800 Electronic LCD Display system was designed as a form, fit and function replacement to the Honeywell ED-800 Cathode Ray Tube displays. The CMA-6800 replicates the functionality of the ED-800, with improved reliability. A quick conversion is achieved by keeping the existing aircraft harnesses for minimum downtime and disruption to aircraft operations.
