Helicopter pilot training provider Coptersafety has appointed Eetu Peuraniemi has Chief Flight Instructor. He succeeds Martin Berner, who is stepping down after four years in the role and over a decade at the company.

Eetu’s career has spanned being a pilot, a flight instructor, and a commander in Search and Rescue, offshore, and emergency medical (HEMS) operations, and he has worked at Coptersafety for over ten years as Head of Training, freelance AW139 TRI/TRE, and Lead H145 Instructor.

“As CFI, I’m focused on following the industry’s development and regulatory aspects to ensure we are always “one step ahead of reality,” said Peuramiemi. “I look forward to working with our training staff to continuously strive to provide our clients the skills and knowledge required to identify the risks and handle the potential events in their areas of operation in aviation.”

“I am pleased to welcome Eetu as a CFI,” commented Mikko Kallio, Coptersafety’s Head of Training. “His long career as a pilot in the industry as well as his vast instructor experience in several roles at Coptersafety will give him a perfect background to successfully manage his new role!”
