Columbia Helicopters has announced the appointment of Melanie Bergier as its Chief Executive Officer and President. According to the company’s announcement Bergier brings extensive leadership experience in aviation operations, strategic growth, and organisational transformation. In this role, Bergier will be responsible for leading Columbia Helicopters’ global operations, advancing the company’s strategic priorities, and continuing to strengthen its position as a premier provider of heavy-lift solutions worldwide.
“Mel is the right leader to guide Columbia Helicopters into its next chapter,” said Paul McElhinney, Chair of the Board. “Her deep understanding of our operations, commitment to safety, and focus on performance and execution make her uniquely qualified to lead the organization forward.”
Prior to this latest appointment Bergier has held a number of roles at the company most recently as Chief Operating Officer, where she led key initiatives to improve efficiency, enhance customer service, and align the organization around its core MRO and Air Operations business.
