CHC’s Norwegian division, CHC Helikopter Service, has signed an offshore support contract with Harbour Energy. The 17-month contract, with a one-year extension provision, follows Harbour Energy’s acquisition of European oil and gas company Wintershall Dea’s upstream assets. Set to begin this month, the contract calls for CHC to provide crew change and transportation services for several drilling campaigns in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea using S-92s.
Commenting on the announcement, Helge Aase Nesvåg, Senior Commercial Director EMEA-E at CHC, said: “Harbour Energy’s decision to extend our partnership highlights their trust in CHC’s ability to deliver superior, safe, and reliable crew transportation services in some of the industry’s most demanding conditions.”
