The US FAA has awarded an STC to Boost Systems Human External Cargo (HEC) for the Bell UH-1H. Previously, Boost’s 412/212/205 HEC Systems were approved by Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) with STC SH20-38 and by the FAA with STC SR04615NY. The new certification adds the only FAA-certified HEC system for the UH-1H. This system is recommended for use during CFR Part 133 external load missions, including search and rescue (SAR), law enforcement, HEC operations, cargo transport, utility line work, powerline maintenance, and forestry operations.
The latest offering adds to Boost Systems’ line of TCCA and FAA-certified HEC systems for a wide range of helicopters, including the Bell 412/212/205, 206L and 407, Airbus AS350/355 and EC135/145, and the MD500.
