Boost Systems, a provider of Human External Cargo (HEC) Systems, Personal Carrying Device Systems (PCDS), and related training services, has added the AS350 Replacement Heater Line Kit STC to its portfolio.
Acquired from RAMM Aerospace, the Replacement Heater Kit Line is an upgrade of insulated stainless-steel tubing to replace the standard aluminium OEM parts. The kit contains installation parts such as tubing, adapters, clamps, and fasteners and integrates with the existing control valve and P2 hose from the engine.
“This kit is ideal for operators approaching a 12-year inspection,” said Michael Petsche, VP of Engineering at Boost Systems. “It’s a seamless install, and the upgrade from compression fittings to more robust flared fittings ensures that future inspections will be conducted with ease.”
The kit is equipped with FLARED AN818 coupling nuts to improve reliability over original compression fittings. The RH350-1017-101 kit is certified to be replaced “On Condition”.
Boost Systems currently offers parts and HEC systems for an array of helicopter models, including the Airbus AS350/355, EC135/145 and MD500, as well as the Bell 412/212/205, 206L and 407.
