Blueberry Aviation is celebrating 20 years in business as well as its 500th helicopter transaction, following the successful delivery of an AW139 aircraft to a VIP customer. The 20th anniversary, which fell during this year’s HELI-EXPO, marks a successful two decades of the Monaco-based team of 25 serving the civil aviation industry with both helicopter and commercial aircraft sales.

In 2022, Blueberry Aviation completed 28 helicopter transactions and announced its long-term partnership with Dufour Aerospace to commercialise its two eVTOL programmes, Aero 2 Drone and .Aero 3 aircraft, with the option to acquire up to 100 of each aircraft model.

Francois Gautier, CEO and founder of Blueberry Aviation, was “extremely proud” to be celebrating 20 years since the company was created: “It is much more than a company, it is a team, a family, and it continues to be a great adventure. Over the past twenty years, our industry has experienced many peaks, many troughs, and has overcome numerous economic and industrial challenges.”

Since the company’s launch in Dublin in 2003, Blueberry Aviation has completed more than 165 commercial aircraft transactions, performed more than 500 inspections and moved more than US$3.5 billion worth of assets for over 65 commercial aircraft customers, as well as more than $1.75 billion in rotary assets for over 275 customers.

“This is a great opportunity to thank our customers and partners for their continued trust and loyalty, as we could not have reached this incredible milestone without them. But first and foremost, I want to thank my team for making Blueberry Aviation the unique, fun and exciting place that it is,” added Gautier.
