Bell has announced that its Bell Training Academy (BTA) has surpassed 230,000 hours of flight training since its founding in 1947.

Since that time, more than 130,000 pilots from 135 countries have completed flight or technical training at BTA’s North Texas facility.

At the BTA, trainees learn through a two-part curriculum featuring interactive classroom instruction and hands-on technical training. While in the classroom, they use 3D courseware and train on advanced simulators equipped with meteorological emulation capabilities.

In addition to the BTA at Bell’s global headquarters, the company has specialised training facilities in Valencia and Singapore, where customers can get the same level of Bell’s mechanical and flight training.
