Aero Brigham has delivered a Bell 407 fully fitted and optimised for law enforcement operations to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO). Florida’s Orange County includes much of the Greater Orlando area.
The helicopter has had an extensive reconfiguration which includes avionics upgrades such as a Helicopter Terrain Awareness and Warning System (HTAWS), as well as a Law Enforcement fit-out that includes a VisLink HDX 1100 Downlink System, L3 Harris MX10 Thermal Imaging Camera, TrakkaBeam A800 Searchlight, Spider Tracks X Aircraft Tracking and Flight Data Monitoring System, and a SHOTOVER ARS-700C Moving Map. Also included in the overall upgrade was an extended instrument panel to accommodate the additional tactical equipment and new exterior paint.
