US technology company ACR Group continues to expand its portfolio of businesses that deliver satellite communications and assured positioning, navigation and timing solutions for the aerospace, government, marine and outdoor markets. Its latest acquisition is Blue Sky Network, a leading developer of satellite tracking systems and two-way communication for aviation, marine and land-based mobile assets.

Headquartered in San Diego, California, Blue Sky Network currently serves over 450 customers and dealers in more than 50 countries. It joins a growing list of ACR Group companies that includes ACR Electronics, Flight Data Systems, FreeFlight Systems, Latitude Technologies, NAL Research, Skytrac and others.

According to its new owner, Blue Sky Network will retain its existing management team, products and brand, as well as its engineering and sales capabilities.
